Kenneth W. Alleman, 77 of Clarington, Ohio passed away Sunday December 31, 2023 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born in New Martinsville, West Virginia March 10, 1946 a son of the late Charles William & Colleen Edith Ollom Alleman.
Kenneth graduated from River High School and went on to serve 6 years in the US Army Reserves. After various other jobs, he retired from Ormet after 38 years of service. He was a member and former commander for 10 years of the American Legion Post 760.
Kenneth leaves behind his wife of 35 years; Carol Sue Masters Alleman, three sons; David William (Kim) Alleman of Sardis, Scott Lynn (Tonia) Alleman of Sardis, and Cliff Gene (Elaine) Alleman of Clarington, three grandchildren; Aaron Alleman, Mathew (Olivia) Alleman and Logan (Kylie Cross) Alleman, two great-grandchildren Paisley Jane Alleman and Lincoln Carter Alleman, eight step children; James A. (Naomi) Baker of Middlebourne, WV, Louise Stewart of Fly, Mick (Tianya) Baker of Harrisville, WV, Brian Baker of Alabama, Loretta Moore of New Martinsville, WV, Kevin Baker of Powhatan, Ohio Shawn (Emmie) Baker of Middlebourne, WV, and several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends received from 4-8 p.m. Thursday January 4, and from 10 am until funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday January 5, 2024 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio with Greg Yost officiating. Burial will follow in the Clarington Cemetery with full Military Graveside services.
