Kent Wright

Kent Lee Wright 72, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away early Saturday morning April 19, 2025 at his home.  He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio December 22, 1952 a son of the late Edward & Laura Delbrugge Wright.

He was retired from First Energy Power Plant, Dillies Bottom, Ohio and a former retired co-owner of Precision Excavating Clarington, Ohio.  He was a member the Masonic Lodge # 597 of Clarington, and a life-time member of the Clarington VFD, and was an avid hunter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Keith Wright, and sister Genelda Waligura, mother and father-in-law Eleanor and Bernard Hossman, and brother-in-law Billy Hossman.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sherry Wright, daughters Heather Wright, Ashley (Bobby) Kuhn, and Whitney (Michael) Moore, grandbabies Colton (Kylie), Chase (Jenna), Addy (Bradlynn), Zara and Tinley, sister Sharon Liskanich and sister-in-law Jean Wright, and also leaves behind many other beloved family and friends.

As per his request, there will be no visitation, a private service for family will be held at a later date.  Arrangements by Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio.
