Larry Briggs

Larry W. Briggs, 76, of Graysville, Ohio passed away Monday February 22, 2021 at his home.   He was born in Woodsfield, Ohio August 7, 1944 a son of the late Roger & Grace Morris Briggs.

Larry served in the United State Military for 22 years, 10 months and 2 days having served 4 stints in the Army and 2 in the Navy.  He also retired from Detroit Diesel after 15 years of service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Gail Ann Briggs – Dec. 4, 2019, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

He is survived by 2 daughters Angela (Michael) Freeman of Barnesville, Ohio, Tawnya (Casey) Stephens of Salesville, Ohio, step daughter Beth Ann (Kevin) Rose of Graysville, Ohio, brother Ronnie Briggs of Barnesville, grandchildren Cole (Brianna) Briggs, Maddison Stephens, Dillon Freeman, Casey Stephens, step grandson Jared (Jacklynn) Rose, great grandchildren Lawson, Emilia, and Andrew, and his dog Harley.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio where services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday February 24, 2021 with Pastor Anthony McSwords officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hartshorn Ridge Cemetery near Graysville, Ohio. www.bauerturner.com
