Lester Lee Christman

Lester Lee Christman, 80 of Sardis, Ohio passed away Wednesday February 23, 2022 at Wheeling Hospital Wheeling, West Virginia.  He was born near Antioch, Ohio February 20, 1942 a son of the late Gilbert and Theodora Mellott Christman.

Lester was a lifelong farmer, enjoying everything about farming especially driving his Farmall tractors.  He enjoyed Sunday drives and visiting with family and friends.  Lester enjoyed tinkering and was able to fix anything. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Sandra Lea Christman.

He is survived by his wife Linda Henthorn Christman.  He and Linda celebrated 55 years of marriage December 12, 2021.  He is also survived by daughter Pamela (Mike) Cochran, son Michael (Crystal) Christman, grandson Noah Christman, sisters Ruth Ann Ridgeway and Mary Katherine McIntire, brother Harry (Connie) Christman, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio where funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday February 26, 2022 with Tim Fleeman officiating.  Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery near Antioch, Ohio.
