Lloyd Eugene Goddard

Lloyd Eugene Goddard, 80 of Sardis, Ohio passed away Tuesday August 18, 2020 at his home.  He was born in Monroe County Ohio July 16, 1940 a son of the late Averon & Bertha Marty Goddard. 

Lloyd retired from Conalco Rolling Mill at Hannibal, Ohio and served in the US Army as a paratrooper.  He was a member of the Sardis United Methodist Church, member of the Duffy VFW, and past president of the River High School 200 Club. Lloyd was also a referee for High School Basketball and umpired Baseball. 

He is survived by his wife Willa Brown Goddard of Sardis, Ohio, one son Stephen Tony (Lori Morielli) Goddard of Pickerington, Ohio, two daughters Valerie Anne Morris of Pickerington, and Stephanie Louise Lindenmayer of Longs, South Carolina, brother Duane (Francy) Goddard of Sardis, sister Donna (Sonny) Potts Jr., of Sardis, and his grandchildren who called him Poppy; Alexandria Noelle Morris,  Kyle Anthony Goddard, Emily Maryann Goddard, Mack William Morris, Maddison Lee Blackwell, Gabrielle Nicole Lindenmayer, Xavier Charles Lindenmayer, and Billy Jarvis.

Friends received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday August 21, at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday August 22, 2020 with Rev. Dennis Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery near Sardis, Ohio. Military graveside service will be conducted by the American Legion Post 760.
