Marcie Renee Bowdish

Marcie Renee Bowdish, 65 of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Monday January 27, 2025 at Arbors at Woodsfield.  She was born at Homestead AFB, Florida, February 25, 1959 a daughter of the late Joanne Warnell Bowdish Necula and Roger Gordon Bowdish. She was coparented by Donna M. Bowdish and the late Nick Necula.

Marcie passed after a courageous battle with cancer for the last ten months, with her beloved companion Terry Terwilliger never leaving her side.  Also, special thanks go to Stonerise Hospice and the staff at Arbors at Woodsfield for their loving care of Marcie.

Marcie always lived life to the fullest, on her own terms. Thru her earning years she was a CNA, a hotel hospitality worker, a bartender, a landscaper, and even sold local produce from her garden.

I call upon all survivors, to remember Marcie with a smile and prayer, “when you know better you do better” and she finally did.  There are lots of wonderful memories filled with laughter, kindness, home cooking and her better days of being a loving wife, mother, sister, friend and aunt.

She is survived by daughters; Catrina Coon and Samantha Pellerin (Taylor), grandchildren Everett, Sawyer, Graham, and Estelle, Coparent/mother Donna M Bowdish, companion Terry Terwilleger, brothers Randall Bowdish (Julie), Brett Bowdish (Jane), and Bart Bowdish (Jennifer), and sister Jennifer Trapaso (John), Necula relatives that meant so much to her, Bryant, Melanie, and T.J., the many nieces and nephews that she loved, special friends; Robin, Cricket, Kerry, and the Veterans in Woodsfield at the local club.

A private service and burial will be held at a later date in North Carolina.
