Mary Ann Yontz

Mary Ann Howell Yontz, 69 of Ozark, Ohio passed away Friday February 4, 2022 at Southeastern Ohio Medical Hospital Cambridge, Ohio.  She was born in Barnesville, Ohio January 31, 1953 a daughter of the late Clarence (Dutch) Howell and Dorothy Gallaher Howell.

She was a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church.  She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Ruth Ellen Howell.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years John Yontz whom she married October 28, 1972, daughter Amanda Yontz, siblings Helen (Rocky) Carpenter, Jeanie (Rich) Hughes, and Connie (Larry) Richter, several nieces and nephews, and special neighbor kids who called her “MeMaw”.

Private services will be held with burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery Ozark.  Arrangements by Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio.
