Melissa Jean Williams, 88, of Flushing, Ohio passed away on Wednesday August 5, 2020. She was born in Flushing, Ohio on February 17, 1932, a daughter of the late Vandora “Duke” and Elizabeth F. Persons Campanizzi.
Melissa was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved all animals, especially her black lab, Charlie. She was a home maker and a member of the Flushing Christian Missionary Alliance.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant daughter Dora Jean, brother, Charles Campanizzi and infant great grandsons, Wyatt and Ronin Williams.
She is survived by her husband Henry E. Williams, a son Raymond “Randy” (Dana) Williams of Beallsville, OH, daughter Lydia “Dee Dee” (Tom) Rutter of St. Clairsville, OH, grandchildren Anthony Allen (Alyssa) Williams, April Rene Williams, Brandon Thomas (Emily) Rutter, Taylor Elizabeth Rutter, Kenedi Elizabeth Williams, great- grandchildren Tiernan Williams, Trinity, Maycee Mejia, Waylon Williams, and Miles Cash and brother Kenny (Kitty) Campanizzi of Wheeling, WV.
Friends received from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. Saturday August 8, 2020 at the Flushing Alliance Church, 431 High St. Flushing, Ohio with Nathan McKeen officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery Flushing, Ohio.
