Michael A. Vinson

Michael A. Vinson, 42 of Wheeling, West Virginia passed away Saturday December 23, 2023 at WVU Reynolds Memorial Hospital Glen Dale, West Virginia.  He was born August 23, 1981 in Long beach California a son of Henry (Judy) Vinson of Powhatan Point, Ohio and Paula Kirby Vinson of Hawthorn, California.

He was an equipment operator, loved cooking, music, playing guitar and doing stained glass work. Michael’s last gift to so many was being an organ donor.

Preceded in death by his grandparents Vernon Blackstone, Virginia Lee Vinson, Henry J. Vinson and Iva Jean Vinson, and uncle David Vinson.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 8 years Joy Vinson, grandmother Cora Blackstone, half brother Michael Blackstone, and half sisters Cassandra Knowlton, and Misty Salisbury as well as there Children, uncle Richard Vinson, and aunt Carol Vinson.

Friends received from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. Wednesday January 3, 2023 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio with Pastor Christy Thomas officiating.  Interment at the convenience of the family.
