Michael William Young

Michael W. Young, 68 of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Thursday August 8, 2024 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital Morgantown, West Virginia.  He was born in Marietta, Ohio September 22, 1955 a son of the late Ward C. Young, and Irene J. Geldmacher Young.

He was a retired crew management maintenance consultant for Eramet Marietta Incorporated, and a US. Navy Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters Eleanor Young and Donetta Shepard.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Miller Young of Woodsfield, five children Tina Thomas of Woodsfield, Trever Slevin of Woodfield, Tracey Slevin of Woodsfield, Terrie O’Neal of South Carolina, and Tonya Allison of Antioch, three sisters Iris Hartshorn of Lewisville, Carol Dougherty of Freeport, and Virginia Caivano of Salem, Massachusetts, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation Arrangements entrusted to Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio.  Interment at the convenience of the family.
