Nancilee McCormack

Nancilee Ogden McCormack, 77 of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was born September 24, 1946 in Woodsfield, Ohio a daughter of the late Jack and Betty McElfresh Ogden. She was married to the late Ralph “Bud” McCormack.

She was a graduate of the Woodsfield High School class of 1964. She lived and worked in Cleveland for many years. The last few years before retiring she worked at Detroit Shoreway, a government program to secure housing and resources for people in need. A few years ago, she moved back to Monroe County and made her home with her daughter Staci.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Michael Ogden, one sister Patricia Bobkovich, one step-daughter Kim McCormack, and a great grandson Corbin Ogden.

She is survived by one daughter Staci Ogden wife of Dexter Galford, two grandsons; Preston (Brett) Ogden and Nick Ogden, six step grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren, six brothers; John Ogden, Richard (Barb) Ogden, Gregg (Francene) Ogden, Kirk (Renee) Ogden, Bill (Cissey) Ogden, Andrew (Bille) Ogden, and four sisters; Beth (Jim) Ayers, Kris (Mel) Ogden, Suellen (Greg) Datkuliak, Kerri (Tom) Wise, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at 1 p.m. Saturday August 24, 2024 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield until time of memorial service at 2 p.m. with Joshua Kinney officiating. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.
