Nicholas Petroff

Nicholas C. Petroff Jr., 75 of New Matamoras, Ohio passed away Sunday January 21, 2024 at Stellar Care Center Woodsfield, Ohio.  He was born in Phoenix, Arizona June 18, 1948 a son of the late Nicholas and Sophia Kuligowski Petroff Sr.

He was a graduate from Erie Cathedral Prep and received his bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University.  He was a US Marine Corp veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, was a retired electrician from the Upper Arlington School District.  Nicholas enjoyed nature and hiking and camping in the National Parks.

He is survived by his sister Debra Petroff of Erie, Pennsylvania and close friends and caregivers John and Kelli Semon of New Matamoras and two nephews.

There will be no visitation.  Arrangements by Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio. Interment at the convenience of the family.
