Richard H Eberle

Richard H. Eberle, 85 of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away July 15, 2021 at his home. He was born in Monroe County, Ohio October 15, 1935 a son of the late Forrest and Nina Hopton Eberle.

Richard was a farmer, school bus driver, teacher for Monroe Head Start and on the Monroe County Board of Elections. He was a member of the Beallsville and Woodsfield United Methodist Church, Beallsville Masonic 298 and an Army veteran. He also was a member of the McDonald's Nut Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Hileman Eberle, brother Wilbur Eberle and sister Elizabeth Ferguson.

He is survived by sons John Eberle of Beallsville, Ohio and Bruce C. (Rhoda) Eberle of Shadyside, Ohio, grandchildren Bruce A. (Emily) Eberle of Shadyside, Ohio, Stacy (Jesse) Rhodes of Lewis Center, Ohio and great grandchildren Evan and Elissa Eberle.

Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Sunday July 18, 2021 with Masonic services at 7:30 and with funeral service at 12 noon Monday  July 19, 2021 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio with Rev. David Cottrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville, Ohio
