Rita Diane Rosenlieb, 72, of Trail Run, Ohio, passed away on June 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Rita was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother “Nana”, sister, and friend whose kindness and love touched everyone she met. She had a remarkable ability to brighten any room with her smile and leave both places and people better than before. Whether through a kind word, a helping hand, or her steadfast faith, Rita brought comfort, encouragement, and joy to those around her.
A devoted Christian, Rita loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and dedicated her life to serving Him. As an ordained pastor, she faithfully taught children’s church and shared the message of the Bible with countless young hearts and minds over the decades. Her unwavering faith, gentle spirit, and servant’s heart left a lasting impact on generations of children and families.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Coy Rosenlieb; her son, Troy (Christina) Rosenlieb; her daughter, Mindy (Mark) Panepinto; her brothers, Paul (Paula) Byers Jr. and Tom (Jodi) Byers; her sister, Paula (Jay) Ruble; and her four beloved grandchildren she absolutely treasured, Ava Rosenlieb, Troy Rosenlieb II, Alessandria Panepinto, and Anthony Panepinto.
Rita was preceded in death by her father, Paul William Byers Sr., and her mother, Vera Imogene Byers.
While her family and friends mourn her passing, they also rejoice in the assurance of her eternal home with the Savior she faithfully served throughout her life. Her legacy of faith, love, compassion, and dedication to others will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched.
In her final hours, Rita’s parting words reflected what mattered most to her: her deep love for her family and her unwavering love for God. She encouraged those she loved to hold fast to their faith, keep their focus on God, and trust in His guidance through every season of life.
Rita will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
