Robert Lee Tulip Jr.

Robert L. Tulip Jr., 64 of Summerfield, Ohio passed away Friday September 9, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Cambridge, Ohio April 12, 1958 a son of the late Robert L. Tulip Sr. and Norma Sills Tulip.

Robert was an active nurse for 42 years.  He graduated LPN school in 1976 and joined the US Navy, where he was an independent duty corpsman.  He then went on to get his RN Degree.  Robert was a very dedicated and compassionate nurse.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Cathy Tulip, and Gerri Tulip both of Cambridge.

Those left to cherish his memories and his wife Tammi (Ferguson) Kerns Tulip, whom he married March 6, 1999, one brother; William Wagner of Cambridge, Ohio,  two daughters;  Erica Kerns of Shadyside, Ohio and Corinna (James) Fleeman of Lower Salem, Ohio, one son Jayson Kerns of Lancaster, Ohio, his greatest joys his five grandchildren; Andrew Kerns (Alyssia Blake) of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Neveaha Seese and Jaylynn Crow of Shadyside, Ohio, and Josilyn and Mavrick Fleeman of Lower Salem, Ohio, his in-laws; Don and Sheila Ferguson, sister-in-law Teresa Brumfield and bonus aunt Terri Pierce.

As per Roberts request there will be no visitation.  Memorial donations may be made to Cancer Gas Cards, 48397 Keylor Hill Road, Woodsfield, Ohio 43793. Arrangements entrusted to Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio.
