Roger Neil McIntire

Roger N. McIntire, 85 of Byesville, Ohio passed away Friday December 12, 2025 at Kobacher House Columbus, Ohio.  He was born February 2, 1940 in Little Meadows, Pennsylvania a son of the late Delbert and Martha Tank McIntire.

Roger was in the US Army and Ohio National Guard with his service spanning from February 29, 1960 through April 30, 1998.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and especially going to auctions.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bruce, Donald, and Errol McIntire, and brother-in-law Richard Mehler.

He is survived by his children; Anita (Bryan) Howell, and Delbert (Wanda) McIntire, brothers; Walter (Judy) McIntire, Gary McIntire, and Dwight (Charlene) McIntire, sisters; Gwen Mehler, and Lois (Bill Rose) McIntire, three sisters-in-law; Kathy McIntire, Betty McIntire and Mary Katherine McIntire, grandchildren; Ruth Ann Stancell, Mary Jane Herod, Christopher White, Jeffrey Wood, Benjamin McIntire, and Jules McIntire and several nieces and nephews

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until time of funeral and military service at 4 p.m. Wednesday December 17, 2025 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio with Pastor Wade Johnson officiating.
