Rosalee Grace Janes

Rosalee Grace Janes of Apex, NC, passed on May 13, 2020.  She was born May 28, 1936, to the late Wayne and Mildred Lallathin Thompson in Laings, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Dr. Ronald Janes, and son, Brent Janes. 

She is survived by son, Kevin Janes; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Beth Janes; daughter, Sheryl Janes; daughter-in-law, Robyn Janes; six grandchildren and their spouses, Brandon and Nicole Janes, Ron Janes, Travis Bradley and Kaylee Janes, Luke and Brianne George, Paul and Brittney Forrest, and Jared and Brenae Allison; and six great grandchildren. 

She was a homemaker, caring wife, mother, active member of the Church of Christ, and volunteer for the benefit of Christian education and the Alzheimer’s Association. 

Due to the pandemic, the family will have a private graveside service at West Union Cemetery near Sardis, Ohio. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be sent to the Raleigh Church of Christ memo marked for Honduran Missions or to Alzheimer’s Association @ www.alz.org
