Rose Elizabeth Saffle

Rose Elizabeth Saffle, 95 of Woodsfield, OH passed away peacefully Thursday, December 4 at The Arbors in Woodsfield. She was born September 22, 1930 in Laings, OH. A daughter of the late Elizabeth and Christian Resecker. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth J. Saffle, daughter Judy Thomas, daughter Sharon (Bill) Tremblay, and also her 11 siblings. 

She is survived by her children; Connie Bowling and Karen (Sam) Shutway, grandchildren; Kevin, Krys, Heather, Ryan, Aimee, Luke and Matthew and 12 great grandchildren. 

Rose was a member of the Woodsfield Church of Christ. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her joy came from her family and helping others. 

Friends will be received at Bauer & Turner Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 9 from 11am until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. with Keith Jones officiating.   Burial services will be held privately for the family.
