Russell S. Headley

Russell S. Headley 66 of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Friday October 13, 2023 at Stellar Care Center Woodsfield.  He was born October 26, 1956 Marietta, Ohio a son of the late Homer and Shirley Headley and Ruth Hogue Baker.

He was a US Army Reservist and a 1976 graduate of Woodsfield High School.  Russell loved spending time with family, playing cards and spending time at the family meat shop.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn “Chub” Headley, and his sisters; Sharon Huffman, and Debbie Hedger.

He is survived by his sons; Aaron (Tasha) Headley of Woodsfield, and Steven Headley of Billings Montana, and daughter; Jaime (Levi) Swartz of Findlay, Ohio, sisters; Jeanie Carpenter of Whipple, Ohio, Shirley Thompson of Marietta, Ohio and Kim Chaplin of Woodsfield, brothers; James (Wendy) Headley and Marlin (Debbie) Headley of Woodsfield, grandchildren; Isabella, Taylor and Dillon, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends received from 6-8 p.m. Monday October 16, 2023 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio.  Interment at the convenience of the family.
