Sam Christman

Sam T. Christman, 87, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away May 6, 2020 at Wheeling Hospital.  He was born in Woodsfield December 14, 1932 a son of the late Ronald “Dick” Christman and Irene Withers Christman.

Sam was a  proud member of the Woodsfield Church of Christ.  He retired from Ormet Aluminum Corp. Hannibal, Ohio

Preceded in death by one son Brian Keith Christman, one daughter Jill Painter, three sisters Doris Smith, Lorna Good, and Zola Slawter, and three brothers Ronald Christman, Burris Christman, and Jack Christman.

He is survived by his wife Nina Witcherman Christman of Woodsfield, three sons Brett Christman of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Randy (Michelle) Christman of Woodsfield, David Christman of Gainesville, Florida, daughter Vicki Christman of Marietta, Ohio, one brother Ray Christman of Alabama, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation. Burial at the convenience of the family. Arrangement by Bauer~Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio.
