Sandra Sue Resecker

Sandra Sue (Kenney) Resecker, 76 of Woodsfield, Ohio formerly of Antioch, passed away Thursday July 4, 2024 at her home.  She was born in Antioch, Ohio November 24, 1947 a daughter of the late Robert F. and Edith D. (Loveall) Kenney.

She was a member of the Jackson Ridge Church of Christ and attended the Woodsfield Church of Christ.  She had worked at the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation center and the Woodsfield 5 & 10.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Carol A. Kenney.

She is survived by her children Lee Ann (Dean) Schultheis of Clarington, Ohio Michael T. Resecker of Beallsville, Ohio and Stephen R. Resecker of Newcomerstown, Ohio, grandchildren Jeremy S. Dye, of Clarington, Ohio Michelle A. Resecker of Moundsville, West Virginia, Justin T. (Cheyanne Miranda) Dye of Clarington, and 3 step grandchildren David (Kelly) Schulteis of Paden City, West Virginia, Michael (Darlene) Schultheis of Clarington,  and Shannon (Lindsay) Schultheis of Davisville, West Virginia, great-grandchildren Carlee, Brandon, and Cayden Dye, Broxtan and Braylon Hoyt, Daulton, Shelby, Halee, Michael “Mikey”, Grayson, Landon and Evan Schultheis, and Cyrus Stillwagner.  Siblings, Robert F. Kenney Jr. of Newport, Ohio Joyce Stoller of Uhrichsville, Ohio, Linda (Fred) Stoehr of Cambridge, Ohio, Gene (Tammy) Kenney of Newport, Ohio, Kathy (Jim) Eckleberry of Uhrichsville, Ohio Connie (Kevin) Norris of Byesville, Ohio Gary Melynda Kenney of St. Clairsville, Ohio David Kenney of Easton Maryland, Timothy (Shirley) Kenney of Mineral Wells, West Virginia and Bill (Michelle) Kenney of Newcomerstown, Ohio, 19 nephews and nieces. She also leaves behind her pup of 13&1/2 years Maggie.

Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday July 9, at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul Street Woodsfield, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday July 10, 2024 with Sam Bartrug officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery Antioch, Ohio.
