Sara Craig

Sara M. Craig, 99, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Saturday October 26, 2019 at the Monroe County Care Center.  She was born at Round Bottom, Ohio August 19, 1920 a daughter of the late Eugene and Clydia Minder Reef.

She owned and operated the Round Bottom General Store, and also owned and operated the Skyline Drive Inn.  She was a protestant by faith. 

Preceded in death by her husband Virgil Craig, one daughter Carol Shafer Jones, brothers Woody Reef, Bud Lallathin, and Wilson Lallathin, and one sister Grace Dierkes.

She is survived by two sons; Darrell (Debbie) Craig of Woodsfield, and Terry (Donna) Craig of Clarington, grandchildren; Tracey (Aimee) Craig, Trevor Craig, Steve (Jodi) Shafer, Yvonne Craig, and Bryan (Amy) Craig, great grandchildren; Patrick Craig, Maddie Craig, Lauren Craig, Jacob Craig, Ben Craig, Zachary Gillespie, Coleten Shafer, Caylie Shafer, and Chloe Shafer, sister-in-law Helen Reef, several nieces and nephews.

Friends received from 4 – 8 p.m. Tuesday October 29, 2019 at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday October 30, 2019 with Rusty Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield.
