Sharon Ann Ritchie

Sharon Ann Ritchie 78, of New Matamoras, Ohio passed away Thursday October 13, 2022 at WVU Camden Clark Medical Center Parkersburg, West Virginia.  She was born in Brownsville, Ohio December 22, 1943 a daughter of the late Raymond & Anna Bonam Hensel.

She was a member of the Newport Church of Christ, and had worked at Riesbeck’s in the Deli and the New Frontier Restaurant.  She was also a loving caregiver to her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Ritchie – 2016 and one brother Lewis Dean Hensel. 

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Brad and Lisa Ritchie of Parkersburg, West Virginia, brother Neal (Barbara) Hensel of Brownsville, and three grandchildren Caleb Matthew Ritchie, Cayleigh Raechelle Ritchie, and Cameron Nikolas Ritchie.

Friends will be received from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, October 17, at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2022, with Lloyd Westbrook officiating.  Burial will follow in Mehrley Cemetery near Fly, Ohio.
