Shirley Ann Haslam, 76 of Clarington, Ohio went home to our Lord, Sunday February 4, 2024. She was born in Stafford, Ohio December 16, 1947 a daughter of the late Emmett and Opal Hood.
She was an active member in the Clarington Methodist Church until illness curtailed her involvement. She was a loving wife, mother, adoring sister and friend. She gave of her time and would pitch in and help whenever needed.
In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by 2 brothers Dale and Gerald Hood.
She is survived by her sister Connie Brown, her loving husband of 50 years Richard Haslam Sr., her children Suzette (Keith) Alleman, Richard (Melissa) Haslam Jr. and Clyde Haslam. Her bonus children Stephen Haslam, Tammy Bodart, Christina Fitzsimmons and Dennis Haslam. She was blessed with a plethora of grandchildren whom she adored. Jeremy Gardner, Natasha Huntsman, Krista Porter, Clayton Gardner, Justin Haslam, Joshua Haslam, Jordan Haslam, Jonathan Haslam, Andrew Haslam, James Haslam, Conner Haslam and Kayne Alleman, as well as 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She will be missed dearly but we live on with the comfort of her once again being with the family we have lost along the way and with our lord and savior.
At her request, there will be no visitation or funeral, she wished to be remembered as she was. The family will plan a memorial for her at a future time.
