Virgil Grubb

Virgil L. Grubb, 80 of Lewisville, Ohio passed away Sunday June 13, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital.  He was born in Greenup County Kentucky February 26, 1941 a son of the late Albert & Mazie Allen Grubb.

Virgil had been a coal miner for North American Coal Company #7 mine.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Jr. Grubb, & Bobbie Grubb, sister Betty Jean Grubb and an infant sister.

He is survived by his wife Donna Mae Cecil Grubb of Lewisville, children; Teresa (Tim) Eaton, of Owasso, Oklahoma, Susan Grubb of Columbus, Ohio, Pamela Magyar of Henderson, Kentucky, Darren (Dawna) Grubb of Woodsfield, Ohio, and Krystal Clark (Joe Burbacher) of Lewisville, grandchildren; Steven & Aleisha Eaton, Michael Magyar, April Shelton, Darrien, Brookelynn & Dalton Grubb, Amya Clark, Brenin Burbacher, and TJ, Cassey and Mardis Stevens who were raised by Virgil and Donna, and 14 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 4 p.m. Thursday June 17 until time of funeral service at 6 p.m. at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio with Joe Hise officiating.  Private burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield.
